St Joseph's School Murray Bridge is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Officer - Curriculum to join our agile team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and fostering a positive learning environment for students. - Key Responsibilities Supporting highly individualised learning

Implementing teacher-directed literacy and numeracy programs

Explicit prompting, modelling and scaffolding

Work closely with the class teacher and Inclusive Education Leader

Implement strategies recommended by allied-health professionals

Support consistent approaches between school and student’s broader care team.

About You

Certificate III or IV in School Based Education Support, Education Support, Disability Support, Individual Support, or a comparable relevant qualification.

Demonstrated experience supporting children with complex disability and high support needs,



particularly students requiring intensive individual support.

Experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support and proactive regulation strategies.

Ability to follow behaviour, communication, health and safety plans consistently and precisely.

HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting including current CPR

Asthma First Aid training, preferably through Asthma Australia’s Asthma First Aid for Schools

Oral Eating and Drinking support training, including demonstrated ability/willingness to follow an individual Oral Eating and Drinking Care Plan.

Personal care and continence support training, including safe, respectful assistance with toileting, hygiene and maintaining student dignity.
