Role Reports to: Data Lead

Overview of the Role

As a Data Analyst at This is Flow, you will be the driving force behind our campaign measurement, insights, and data storytelling. Moving beyond a support role, you will take autonomous ownership of end-to-end reporting across multiple clients, translating complex datasets into actionable optimization strategies.

This role is ideal for a proactive professional who understands the core foundations of media data, can spot gaps in tracking or architecture, and is comfortable working independently. You will not only build dashboards and dive deep into attribution models, but you will also act as a key strategic partner,



stepping up to assist with high-level strategy and client pitches when the Data Lead is unavailable. Above all, you’ll bring an analytical mind and a passion for turning numbers into a competitive advantage for our agency and our clients.

Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Ownership: Manage data projects autonomously across multiple clients from start to finish, requiring minimal supervision.
- Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards tailored to specific client needs, primarily utilizing Data Studio.
- Performance & Optimization: Analyze ongoing campaign performance across media channels and proactively provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
- Deep-Dive Analysis: Conduct advanced behavioral and performance analyses, focusing on custom audience segments, multi-touch attribution, and purchase funnels.
- Data Foundation & Auditing: Evaluate the core foundations of client data setups, identify gaps in tracking or measurement, and implement solutions.
- Strategic Support: Assist with high-level data strategy and agency pitch presentations when the Data Lead is unavailable.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within a media agency, advertising, or marketing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong, Hands-on expertise in SQL, proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and dbt, and a solid understanding of the broader Google ecosystem.
- Data Visualization: High proficiency in Data Studio, with the agility and willingness to pick up other BI platforms (like PowerBI or Tableau) as needed.
- Programming Skills: Some practical experience utilizing Python or R for data manipulation.
- Autonomy: Proven ability to work largely independently, managing your own time and priorities across various client portfolios.
- Communication: Excellent ability to distill complex data into explicit, compelling narratives for both internal teams and external clients.
