Halaxy

Melbourne

We’re Halaxy.

Halaxy solves the real issues in healthcare, to make healthcare efficient, effective and accessible.

Halaxy is across the whole value chain of healthcare – right from practice and patient management software to AI Scribes, to searchable practitioner directories and online bookings, as well as personal health records, and telehealth. By having it all in the one platform, we make the real, genuine transformation that healthcare needs across the whole sector not just in one product or for one type of customer. And we do it globally – we’re in 100 countries, and 100 professions.

Job purpose The Data and Pricing Analyst turns Halaxy’s data into reliable reporting, financial models and commercial insight that the business uses to make decisions. The role structures and maintains data, builds dashboards and financial models, and takes ownership of the data collection, analysis and insight that inform pricing decisions across Halaxy’s freemium and paid products.

Working closely with the Expansion, Product, Finance and Service teams, the analyst looks behind the numbers, questions assumptions, and makes complex data clear enough for the business to act on.

At Halaxy, AI is woven into how we work, from the product we build to the way we build it, with our people always guiding what it produces. We’re looking for someone who’s curious about AI, uses it with care and enjoys growing with a team that’s always learning.

What you’ll do

- Own the data and analysis behind our Growth teams, from campaign results and channel performance to how practitioners find, try, and choose Halaxy
- Take loosely formed questions from anywhere in the business and turn them into a clear plan, with answers the team can use straight away
- Build dashboards and reports that help every Halaxian find their own answers, without waiting on you
- Share what the data is telling us, recommend what to do next, and speak up when a request won’t solve the real problem
- Look after our data pipelines from start to finish, so the numbers everyone relies on are accurate and fast
- Lead the investigation when a number suddenly changes, and work out whether it’s a genuine shift or something broken behind the scenes
- Use AI every day to speed up your analysis, and help shape how data is modelled, shared, and trusted across Halaxy

Responsibilities

Data and reporting

- Data Structure and Quality: Structure, model and maintain data so reporting is accurate, consistent and trusted across the business.
- Dashboards and Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards in Omni and other reporting tools, making key business and SaaS metrics visible and easy to interpret.
- Data Investigation: Dig into anomalies, trends and unexpected results, explaining what sits behind the numbers rather than only reporting them.

Financial modelling

- Financial Models: Build and maintain financial models, including driver-based forecasts, scenario analysis to support planning and decision making.
- Margin and Profitability Analysis: Prepare margin analysis by product line, allocating revenue and costs to give a transparent view of product profitability.
- Business Metrics: Track and report on SaaS financial and business metrics such as recurring revenue, conversion, churn, retention and customer lifetime value.

Pricing and commercial insight

- Pricing Analysis: Own the data collection, analysis and insight that inform pricing decisions, including modelling the commercial impact of pricing options before they are made.
- Performance: Analyse how practitioners move through Halaxy’s free and paid offerings, identifying where value is captured and where opportunities exist.
- Commercial Recommendations: Translate analysis into clear, practical recommendations for the business, setting out the trade-offs and assumptions behind them.

Collaboration and ways of working

- Stakeholder Partnership: Work flexibly with senior leaders and teams across the business to understand what they need from data and deliver it in a form they can use.
- Ownership of Deliverables: Own deliverables end to end, from scoping the question through to final insight, while working as part of the broader team.
- Driving Improvement: Question the status quo, improve data processes over time, and make the case for fixing data gaps in terms the business can act on.
- AI-Assisted Work: Make deliberate use of AI and automation in analysis, modelling and reporting, verifying generated output before it is relied on.
- Agility and Adaptability: As Halaxy is an agile organisation, responsibilities may evolve over time to meet business needs, and additional duties may be required from time to time.

Skills, knowledge & competencies & what you’ll bring to the role

- Degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Two to four years in an analyst role, ideally working with marketing or growth data in a tech or SaaS business. What you’ve built matters more to us than time served.
- A genuine belief that great software makes a real difference, and that removing administration gives practitioners more time for their patients and clients

- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with data tables. Maintain the data pipeline end to end, from ingestion to the models built on top of it, so it runs clean and fast.
- Experience in a high-growth environment, comfortable moving quickly and executing when data and processes aren’t perfect.
- A habit of finding the answer yourself before you ask someone else to pull it
- Curiosity when something doesn’t add up. You dig in until you find the cause, rather than explaining it away.
- Real enthusiasm for AI, shown through things you’ve built, tested, or tinkered with in your own time
- A builder’s mindset. You’d rather make the tool than wait for one.
- Confidence in your thinking and openness to being wrong. At Halaxy, the best idea wins, wherever it comes from.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.
