We’re looking for a hands-on content creator to help film and edit video for social.
This would suit a university student studying media, communications, film or a related field, or someone early in their content career with practical editing skills and a willingness to learn.
You’ll work closely with our creative team, following briefs and turning ideas and raw footage into finished content. This role is focused on making content, rather than managing social media accounts or leading strategy.
What you’ll do
- Help prepare for and film content, including product shots, demonstrations and talking-to-camera videos.
- Edit footage into engaging short-form videos using supplied briefs and references.
- Add captions, text overlays, music and simple transitions.
- Create different versions of ads with alternative hooks, lengths and formats.
- Apply feedback accurately and deliver work to agreed deadlines.
- Check captions, audio, framing and branding before handing over edits.
- Keep footage, project files and final exports organised.
About you
- You have basic filming and video-editing skills, with examples you can show us.
- You’re comfortable using an editing tool such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
- You understand short-form content and have an eye for pacing and detail.
- You’re reliable, organised and happy to get involved in the practical side of shoots.
- You can follow instructions, ask questions when needed and take feedback on board.
- You’re available to work three days per week in our Sydney CBD office. These are the total working days for the role, not three office days within a full time week.
You don’t need years of professional experience. University projects, personal content and videos you’ve made for smaller brands are all welcome.
How to apply
Send a short introduction, your availability and two or three examples of videos you’ve filmed or edited.
