Experienced Luxury Travel Advisor

Destination HQ | Beaumaris, Melbourne | Full-Time, Office-Based Position | Starting January 2027

An exciting opportunity has opened up at Destination HQ.

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Luxury Travel Advisor to join our established team in beautiful Bayside Melbourne.

With over 50 years in the travel industry, Destination HQ has built a loyal, repeat clientele and a strong DHQ Travel Community.

We’re a proud member of the Luxury Travel Collection providing comprehensive House of Luxury Travel products and access to luxury hotel programs. We specialise in creating exceptional, personalised travel experiences for our clients.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves travel, enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and wants to be part of a supportive team where they can grow their career.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for designing and managing personalised travel experiences, from premium holidays and cruises to complex, tailor-made international itineraries.

You’ll join a friendly, knowledgeable and supportive team.





You’ll be supported with existing clients and new enquiries from day one, along with access to leading travel suppliers and exclusive luxury partnerships.

Over time, you’ll grow your own client portfolio and increase your earning potential through our attractive commission structure.

This is a full time, office-based role, working alongside the team at our Beaumaris office, starting in January 2027.

About You

You’re a passionate and experienced Luxury Travel Advisor who loves creating memorable travel experiences and building lasting client relationships.

With strong destination knowledge and the ability to manage itineraries from start to finish, you’re confident working independently while delivering exceptional service every step of the journey.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Luxury Travel Advisor
- Strong international travel and destination knowledge, with experience creating complex, tailor-made itineraries
- Cruising experience and knowledge, including ocean, river and expedition cruising
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to consult with clients and collaborate with suppliers and team members
- Confident with digital tools, GDS or booking platforms, and CRM systems to manage client information and bookings
- A genuine passion for travel, with exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills

- Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with no Saturdays
