We’re looking for a fire safety compliance specialist to look after council and authority matters for our strata and commercial clients. You’ll be the go-to technical expert for strata managers, committees and our own team. You’ll help clients understand what’s required of them and make sure it gets done.

What you’ll do

- Manage council notices and orders from start to finish. That means reviewing what’s required, advising clients and strata managers, scoping the remedial work, coordinating our service teams, and following each matter through to close-out.
- Review and organise building records and fire safety documentation (baseline data), and explain what they mean for each site.
- Give clear technical advice on fire safety legislation and compliance to clients,



strata managers and internal teams.
- Attend site meetings with councils, owners corporations and committees, and prepare defect summaries that help clients plan and prioritise work.

About you

- Solid working knowledge of fire safety legislation, standards and council compliance processes.
- Able to turn complex technical information into plain, practical advice.
- Confident dealing with strata managers, committees and council officers.
- Highly organised, with the follow-through to keep several matters moving at once.
