What You’ll Do

As Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the overall success of the centre, ensuring exceptional outcomes for children, families, educators and the wider community.

This role combines leadership, operations, compliance, financial performance and educational excellence. Working closely with your Portfolio Manager and centre leadership team, you'll create a positive and high-performing culture where people feel supported, valued and empowered to succeed.

As the Nominated Supervisor, you'll champion quality practice, child safety and continuous improvement, while building a centre that families trust and educators are proud to be part of.

You will:

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service
- Develop, mentor and inspire a high-performing team
- Foster a positive and engaged centre culture
- Drive educational excellence and quality outcomes
- Oversee centre compliance, governance and child safety requirements
- Build strong partnerships with children, families and the local community
- Manage centre occupancy, utilisation and enrolments
- Support financial performance and budget management
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Quality Improvement Plans
- Ensure the centre operates in line with the National Quality Framework, policies and regulatory requirements
- Actively contribute to the growth and success of Kids ELC

Who You Are





You are an experienced and people-focused leader who understands that great centres are built through strong relationships, quality education and a positive team culture.

You enjoy developing others, making decisions that drive improvement and creating environments where children, families and educators feel a genuine sense of belonging.

You'll bring:

- A Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education and care
- Previous Centre Manager, Nominated Supervisor or senior leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations
- Experience leading large teams and building positive workplace cultures
- Strong operational, administrative and organisational skills
- Experience managing occupancy, enrolments and financial performance
- The ability to coach, mentor and develop future leaders
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to child safety, compliance and continuous improvement
- Current Working with Children Check and relevant first aid qualifications
