Accounts Receivable Officer Part Time 8 hours per week

About the roleWe are seeking a Part Time Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team at a busy horse racing stable in Cranbourne, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

What you'll be doing

Handling the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections

Reconciling accounts and resolving customer queries and discrepancies in a timely manner

Monitoring and following up on outstanding payments, and implementing appropriate collection strategies

Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all transactions and customer accounts

Providing support to the finance team as required

Adhering to all relevant accounting policies and procedures

What we're looking for





Proven experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role

Robust numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and negotiations effectively

Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications

A team player with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively

Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
