Production – Chain-Link Fabric & Wire Machine Operator

This is a hands-on role in the operation of a Chain-link Wire Fabric Machine to produce a varied range of chain-link wire fabric products, with a high level of efficiency, quality, and minimal waste. Full training is to be provided.

The Role:

- Reporting to the Production Team Leader
- Manufacture Chain-link Wire Fabric to meet production and stock order requirements.
- Perform required Quality Assurance checks of products produced.
- Utilize the company ERP system (Evolution) via an electronic tablet (iPad) to enter production data.
- Ensuring to follow company policies / procedures, and safe work procedures will form an significant part of your role.
- Participation in annual stock takes and monthly cycle stock counts.
- Ensuring that work area and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and in an orderly manner, at all times.

Qualifications & Experience:





- Current Forklift license
- Machine operation experience, preferably wire processing and production machinery and ability to change the tooling on the machine to manufacture various products.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Production & Technical skills.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Use of hand tools, power tools and plant and equipment.
- Safety & Team Orientated.
- Appreciate cultural diversity.

- Excellent attendance record.
- Responsible & accountable for own work.
- Exercise judgment and initiative with attention to detail & quality.
