ANZIIF is seeking an accomplished commercial and industry leader to join our Executive Team as General Manager – Industry Engagement.

This pivotal role will lead ANZIIF's commercial growth and industry engagement agenda, strengthen industry partnerships and enhance our influence across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Greater China.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO and a key member of the Executive Team, you will be accountable for organisational revenue performance, building trusted relationships with senior industry leaders, identifying current growth opportunities and delivering sustainable commercial outcomes.

Your leadership will ensure ANZIIF remains commercially strong, deeply connected to industry and responsive to the evolving needs of the profession.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver ANZIIF's enterprise revenue strategy, driving sustainable growth, market expansion, and commercial performance.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Executive Team, and Board on market dynamics, strategic opportunities, and commercial performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global sales and engagement team.
- Design and execute industry engagement strategies that strengthen ANZIIF's relevance, influence, and market presence.
- Cultivate and strengthen executive-level relationships across the insurance sector, regulatory bodies, and strategic partners.
- Secure and optimize strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial opportunities that advance organizational objectives.
- Leverage market intelligence and customer insights to enhance ANZIIF’s membership, education, and professional development offerings.
- Represent ANZIIF at industry forums, conferences, executive roundtables,



and stakeholder events across the region.
- Contribute to enterprise strategy and foster a collaborative, high-performing executive leadership culture.

You are a commercially astute executive with a proven ability to drive growth, build high-value partnerships and influence senior stakeholders. With strong insurance industry credibility and Board-level presence, you deliver strategic outcomes that balance commercial success with organisational purpose.
