About the RoleEIL GLOBAL is seeking an experienced Freelance AV & EUC Support Engineer in Canberra to provide on-site technical support for end-user computing (EUC) and audiovisual (AV) systems on an on-call basis.

This opportunity is suitable for engineers who can provide reliable in office support during business hours, depending on client requirements and scheduled assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other end-user devices.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment, including meeting room displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
- Assist with meeting room setup and resolve AV connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral-related issues.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common end-user applications.
- Perform device installations, replacements, and basic configuration tasks.
- Maintain accurate service reports and submit Service Visit Reports (SVRs) after each assignment.
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide timely updates on completed activities.

Requirements




- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in onsite EUC, desktop support, or AV support.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and meeting room AV equipment.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage on-site assignments.
- Must be based in Canberra or nearby and able to travel to client sites as required.
- Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
