A starting Salary of $79,423 (depending on experience). Task &

responsibilities Our lead educator superstar will: Lead and support educators within the room to ensure high-quality education and care practices. Collaborate with the Educational Leader to enhance educational practices, support reflective practice, and improve curriculum planning and documentation processes. Provide guidance, mentoring, and role modelling to educators and students.

Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture. Support the induction of new educators and assist with their integration into the service. Communicate operational and educational matters effectively with the Nominated Supervisor and leadership team.

Qualification &

experience What we’re looking for: Proactive, passionate, and ready to grow with us. Minimum 12 months' experience as an Early Childhood Educator A minimum of a Diploma or working towards or ACECQA equivalent approved qualification.

Current First

Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications. A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card). Up-to-date Child Protection training. Strong knowledge of the NQF and EYLF. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A genuine love for early childhood education and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Sunshine is a community based not-for-profit organisation located in the town of Moranbah just a few short hours from the vast and beautiful coastline of Queensland. Our service provides care for 80 children per day in our long day care centre.
