What does the job look like?

We are looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to support our transport operation in Rocklea.

This is a hands-on coordination role where you'll help keep daily transport activities moving safely and efficiently. No two days are the same — one moment you’ll be allocating vehicles to maximise payloads; the next, you’ll be supporting drivers, reviewing reports, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every movement complies with operational and safety requirements.

The work requires sharp judgement, strong coordination skills and the ability to stay calm when priorities shift without warning — because in transport, they often do.

Key areas include:

- Coordinating transport resources and supporting efficient day-to-day operations

- Maximising vehicle payloads and supporting commercially sound transport outcomes

- Supporting safe work practices and compliance with Linfox WHS requirements

- Conducting weekly toolbox talks and helping coordinate mandatory driver training





- Maintaining driver competency and training records

- Supporting accurate and timely operational reporting

- Building strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal teams — because great communication keeps freight moving and people secure

- Coordinating driver leave and supporting employee development

- Assisting the Transport Manager with HR, safety and performance processes that drive continual improvement

Are you the one?

You'll be someone who enjoys being close to the operation and can stay organised when priorities change.

Importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that good transport coordination isn't simply about getting freight out the door. You'll be comfortable balancing service, efficiency, safety and compliance, and communicating confidently with drivers and stakeholders when plans need to change.

You will also bring:

- Strong understanding of general freight operations, including load restraints and basic warehousing processes

- Working knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills

- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy
- Sound reporting and administration capability
- SAP warehousing experience would be advantageous
- A proactive mindset and a commitment to safety,
