This is a ‘role up your sleeves’ Sales / Customer Service role with the opportunity to progress into management. Processes and products will be trained on the job, but your willingness to step up and take responsibility, to prioritise, lead and sell, this is where we see your future. Initially your training will include front counter sales, where you will assist customers with enquiries, product selections, orders and provide general advice. That will progress once you have gained the necessary industry experience, and the time frame would be escalated if you have previous industry experience.

Key responsibilities

Greet and assist customers at our front counter and showroom

Create sales opportunities from in store customers, and phone/email enquiries

Prepare quotes and turn them into orders | Process orders

Follow up customer enquiries and quotes with outbound sales calling

Assist builders, bricklayers and other trade customers

Work closely with a small, experienced team to get results

Learn our range of bricks, pavers and associated products

Ability to create sales while providing customers with a positive experience

displays a friendly, positive, and skilled personality

Is reliable, helpful, punctual and well organised

A motivated leader who gets the best out of a team by working with them

Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems

Can communicate confidently in person, over the phone and by email

Not intimidated easily, can prioritise and multitask

Willing to learn and not afraid to ask questions

Previous experience in trade sales, hardware, building supplies or a similar environment would be an advantage, but is not essential
