Key Requirements
- Hands-on security architecture experience across hybrid environments: Azure, AWS, on-prem, zero trust, network segmentation and secure-by-design principles
- Australian Citizen who can attain (or currently holds) a Baseline security clearance
- Government delivery experience highly desirable
The GigLead Cyber Security ArchitectA federal agency at the absolute frontline of government service delivery is on the hunt for a seasoned Lead Cyber Security Architect. Picture this: You're operating with real autonomy inside a large, fast-moving environment, translating complex business and ICT requirements into secure-by-design architectures that actually get built. You're the go-to voice on cyber security strategy, guiding delivery teams through the noise, resolving architectural exceptions, and keeping the agency's platforms locked down without slowing anyone down. The role spans the full solution lifecycle — from conceptual design through to governance and assurance — and you'll be presenting clear, risk-based advice to senior executives and governance bodies.
Based in QLD, WA, VIC, NSW, SA (with hybrid/negotiable arrangements), this is a genuine opportunity to shape security architecture at scale.
We know because we do. The Cloud Delivered crew are senior ICT contractors ourselves — we've sat in the architect's chair, navigated APS governance, and know exactly what it takes to nail a role like this. We'll back you from first contact to contract signature.
If you tick the essentials below, we'll help you excel in the application and get your pitch in front of the right people fast.
You'll bring: Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business issues within the cyber security domain, deliver pragmatic, risk-based recommendations,
influencing stakeholder skills, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
