TMK Engineering is a Victorian-owned industrial contractor specializing in process piping, mechanical installation, fabrication, CAD drafting and industrial maintenance throughout Victoria.

We work closely with maintenance managers, project engineers and production teams to design, fabricate and install complete process systems for manufacturing facilities. From reviewing P&IDs; and developing fabrication drawings through to workshop fabrication, site installation, testing and commissioning, we deliver projects from concept through to completion.

Role Description

This is a full-time, in office role based in Lara, Victoria.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll work across both project delivery and ongoing plant maintenance within industrial manufacturing environments.





Your responsibilities will include installing and aligning pumps, tanks, vessels, valves, instrumentation and process pipework, along with preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs and plant upgrades.

You'll work closely with our fabrication and welding teams to ensure installations are completed accurately, safely and efficiently.

This role requires someone who enjoys both project work and maintenance, can think through mechanical problems and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Qualifications

- Mechanical Fitter Trade Qualification
- Experience installing pumps, valves, tanks, vessels and process equipment
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown experience
- Ability to diagnose mechanical faults
- Strong understanding of mechanical alignment and installation techniques
- Excellent ability to read P&IDs;, isometric drawings and engineering drawings
- Experience working in industrial manufacturing environments
- Forklift, EWP, Dogging and Rigging tickets highly regarded
- Experience with process piping systems is advantageous
