Oracle Functional & Technical Specialist – Oracle Fusion Field Service

About the Role

Maltem Australia is looking for an experienced Oracle Functional & Technical Specialist to join our growing technology consulting practice and support a major enterprise transformation program.

This is a hands-on techno-functional role focused on Oracle Fusion Field Service (OFFS) and the broader Oracle Utilities ecosystem. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams and delivery partners to translate business requirements into scalable Oracle solutions.

You will play a key role across the full delivery lifecycle—from requirements analysis and functional design through configuration, development, integration, testing and deployment.

What You'll Do

As an Oracle Functional & Technical Specialist, you will:

- Lead the functional design, configuration and deployment of Oracle Fusion Field Service (OFFS) solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to gather, analyse and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, system design, fit-gap and solution validation workshops.
- Translate complex business requirements into explicit functional and technical specifications.
- Deliver end-to-end functional and technical support for OFFS.
- Lead workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Configure Oracle solutions and develop custom components using PL/SQL, Oracle APIs and relevant Oracle development frameworks.
- Provide end-to-end functional and technical support across the Oracle ecosystem.
- Work with internal delivery teams, vendors and technology partners to implement enhancements and resolve functional and technical issues.
- Support system,



integration and user acceptance testing activities.
- Support solution deployment, troubleshooting and post-implementation activities.
- Identify and resolve functional issues, enhancement requests and opportunities for process improvement.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions and knowledge-transfer activities for business users and technical teams.
- Mentor team members and contribute to building broader Oracle capability within the delivery team.

What We're Looking For

You will bring strong hands-on experience working across both the functional and technical aspects of Oracle Utilities implementations.

Ideally, you will have:

- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Field Service (OFFS).
- Proven experience delivering Oracle Utilities product implementations and upgrades.
- Strong technical development experience in PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Oracle Utilities Application, Framework (OUAF), JavaScript and integration frameworks
- Strong understanding of functional design, configuration and integration across Oracle Utilities applications.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
- Experience facilitating workshops, fit-gap assessments and solution-design sessions.
- Experience supporting testing, deployment, troubleshooting and production enhancements.




- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams within large enterprise environments.
- The ability to work independently, take ownership of problems and develop practical solutions.
- The ability and willingness to learn new technologies and broaden your knowledge across an enterprise applications portfolio.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Relevant Oracle certifications would be highly regarded.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other Oracle Cloud technologies.
- Broader exposure to the Oracle Utilities application ecosystem.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise transformation or modernisation programs.
- Experience integrating Oracle platforms with other enterprise applications and services.
