About the Role

We're looking for a People Systems & Analytics Officer to join our People and Safety Team in a part-time ongoing role (0.60 FTE).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of people, systems and data. You'll be the subject matter expert for our HR Information System (ELMO), helping ensure our people systems run effectively, our workforce data is accurate and meaningful, and our leaders have the insights they need to make informed decisions.

What You'll Do

As our People Systems & Analytics Officer, you will:

- Lead the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of ELMO and associated people systems.
- Configure and enhance system workflows, forms, templates and reporting capabilities.
- Maintain the integrity, security and quality of workforce data.
- Develop workforce dashboards, reports and analytics that support organisational decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leaders using people and workforce data.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline people processes.
- Support system upgrades,



testing and implementation of new functionality.
- Coordinate workforce reporting requirements, including compliance and legislative reporting.
- Provide expert advice, training and support to system users across the organisation.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve employee experience through better use of technology and data.

Desired Skills And Experience

What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who combines strong systems capability with a genuine interest in people and organisational improvement.

You Will Bring

- Experience administering ELMO or a similar Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
- Strong workforce reporting and data analysis capabilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using reporting or business intelligence tools such as Power BI.
- Experience developing dashboards, performance metrics and executive-level reporting.
- Knowledge of HR processes, workforce metrics and employment legislation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- The ability to translate complex data into practical insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field.

Experience within local government, statutory authorities or the public sector will be highly regarded. Why Join Us?
