Role Description The Production and Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Adelaide, SA, responsible for overseeing day-to-day bakery production and operational activities. This role includes planning and scheduling production to meet demand across retail stores and non-retail channels, ensuring product quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained. The manager will coordinate staffing, workflow, and resource allocation, and will monitor inventory levels, waste, and costs to optimize efficiency.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing production data, resolving operational issues, improving processes,



and communicating clearly with store managers, suppliers, and internal teams. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the strategic growth of the business.

Qualifications and experience

- Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Production Management skills to coordinate schedules, capacities, and product quality.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management and Analytical Skills to oversee daily operations, interpret data, and drive efficiency improvements.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and leadership.
- Experience in food manufacturing, bakery, or FMCG environments, including knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, is highly beneficial.
- Relevant qualifications in operations, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, are preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment is an advantage.
- Experience in product improvement and current product Development.
