About The Role
Corporate Travel Management (CTM) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of key workstreams within our global transformation to the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS) across Asia Pacific, including Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. Working as part of the Global GDS Project Team, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day project delivery across your assigned workstreams, collaborating with the Global GDS Project Manager, senior stakeholders, business leaders and external partners to deliver key milestones and outcomes.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in a complex, large-scale technology transformation, managing project plans, risks, dependencies and business readiness to support a successful implementation. As the GDS program progresses, your responsibilities will also expand to include other strategic and operational projects across CTM.
What You’ll Do
- Lead project delivery: Manage assigned workstreams from planning through to implementation and completion, ensuring milestones, scope, timelines and objectives are achieved.
- Plan and coordinate: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, integrated schedules, resource requirements, dependencies and critical paths across multiple activities.
- Manage risks and issues: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage scope changes and dependencies, and escalate complex issues requiring broader decision-making.
- Drive business readiness: Partner with operational and business teams to coordinate change management, communications, training, testing, cutover and go-live activities.
- Engage stakeholders: Represent CTM in meetings with customers, vendors and project partners,
providing clear progress updates and managing expectations across stakeholder groups.
- Support continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, share lessons learned and apply consistent project management practices across the program and future projects.
About You You’re a proactive and organised Project Manager who thrives in complex transformation environments. You’re comfortable working autonomously, navigating competing priorities and bringing diverse stakeholders together to achieve successful outcomes.
You’ll Also Bring
- At least 5 years’ direct project management experience, ideally within complex technology transformations, platform implementations, migrations or business process change program.
- Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies and change.
- Proven experience coordinating large-scale testing, business readiness, cutover and go-live activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and reporting skills, including experience working with external vendors and third-party partners.
- The ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, manage multiple workstreams and deliver against competing deadlines.
- A team-oriented approach, with the confidence to work independently, influence stakeholders and escalate issues when required.
- Experience in the corporate travel management industry will be highly regarded.
- Cantonese language skills are preferred, given the regional scope of the role and its stakeholder engagement across APAC.
