Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time hybrid role based in Quakers Hill, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for aluminium façade and lightweight architectural projects, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labor assessments.

The Project

Estimator will review architectural and engineering drawings, coordinate with design and project teams, and liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure accurate and competitive proposals. Daily tasks include developing budgets, updating cost databases, assessing project risks, and contributing to value-engineering options that support both performance and constructability.



The role also requires clear documentation of estimates, active participation in project meetings, and ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the bidding and pre-construction phases.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Cost Management and Budgeting skills to develop and monitor accurate project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Candidates should possess Construction Estimating and Project Estimation skills to prepare detailed tenders, quantity take-offs, and cost breakdowns aligned with project specifications.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with design teams, engineers, suppliers, and clients, and to present estimate findings clearly.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with estimation and project tools (e.g., Excel, construction estimating software) and strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Relevant experience in façade, cladding, or construction projects, and knowledge of building materials, codes, and industry standards are highly beneficial.
- A qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline, along with the ability to work both independently and in a team, is preferred.
- Experience in LogiKal, V6, Shucal+.
