Dealer's Assistant role reporting directly to the Senior Investment Adviser. The successful candidate must have Chinese language skills: speaking and reading. Previous work experience is not required, and graduates are welcome to apply.

Key responsibilities

- Liaising between clients, advisors and the middle office team
- Responding to client queries and requests both written and verbal in Chinese and English
- Opening and maintaining client accounts (equities, derivatives, international, SMA's) and ensuring all information is accurate and meets minimum regulatory obligations
- Daily use of various market systems and platforms, Agility (client account management system), Praemium (Portfolio Administration system)
- Placing Buy/Sell execution only orders in both the local and international markets as requested by clients or advisors, reporting trades as instructed and managing FX
- Ensuring trades are settled, monitoring daily equity and option debtors
- Move cash from accelerator accounts to CMA
- Organise outgoing correspondence – mail outs,



change in address, change in registration of security holdings, change in name, update banking etc.
- Assist in preparing and sending research notes, client reports, portfolio reviews and presentations
- Maintaining and updating the client database and files
