An experienced Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to support major construction projects within a complex operational environment. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, communication and writing skills, alongside experience managing stakeholder engagement across construction projects from planning through to completion.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans across major construction projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers, operational teams and contractors throughout project delivery.
- Engage with local councils, communities and external stakeholders.
- Translate complex project information into explicit, engaging communications.
- Prepare project updates, newsletters and internal and external communications.
- Identify and manage stakeholder risks, concerns and project impacts.
- Build strong relationships across project delivery teams and stakeholders.

About you





- Strong stakeholder engagement experience across major construction projects, ideally end-to-end.
- Excellent written communication, copywriting and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience translating complex information into clear messaging for different audiences.
- Experience engaging with councils, communities, contractors and project teams.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently within multidisciplinary project environments.
- Experience managing stakeholder engagement across large-scale construction projects (desirable).
- Knowledge of the IAP2 stakeholder engagement framework (desirable).
- Experience managing community impacts and sensitive stakeholder communications (desirable).
