We're after an experienced painter who can run their side of a job with confidence. You'll work alongside our current team, delivering projects from prep through to final coat without requiring supervision. Jobs typically run for two to three weeks on one site, so there's minimal travel between jobs and steady, consistent work.
Key responsibilities
- Surface preparation: sanding, filling, patching, caulking and masking
- Applying 3-coat paint systems to interiors and exteriors (brush, roller and spray)
- Painting weatherboards, render, fibro, soffits, timber and stained posts
- Repaints, restorations and new builds
- Keeping sites clean, safe and tidy, and communicating well with builders and homeowners
- Managing your own time and workload to keep jobs on schedule
About you
- Trade qualification in painting (Cert III or equivalent) or solid proven experience
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a job
- High attention to detail and a quality finish
- Reliable, punctual and a good team player
- Current White Card
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Spray experience preferred
