We are recruiting an experienced Residential Building Manager for an established national home builder delivering approximately 300 homes annually across its Brisbane operations.

The business operates across both retail and investment housing. Working closely with the Operations Managers, you will oversee the construction function, leading a team of Building Supervisors, a Maintenance Supervisor and Building Coordinators.

The role will include:

- Leading and mentoring the construction team to achieve programme, quality and delivery targets.
- Overseeing construction of approximately 300 homes annually.
- Managing construction programmes, workflow and resources across multiple sites.
- Working closely with Operations Managers to improve efficiencies, processes and construction performance.
- Ensuring homes are delivered to required quality standards, budgets and timeframes.
- Supporting supervisors with construction challenges, subcontractor performance and site issues.
- Overseeing maintenance and defect rectification processes.
- Maintaining compliance with QBCC requirements,



building regulations and workplace health and safety standards.

To be considered, you will need:

- A current, appropriate QBCC licence.
- Extensive experience in residential construction, ideally within a volume or project home building environment.
- Proven experience managing a team of Building Supervisors.
- Solid technical construction knowledge and an understanding of the Queensland residential building industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities across a high-volume construction programme.

This role would suit an experienced Construction Manager or Building Manager who enjoys leading people, improving construction outcomes and working collaboratively with senior operational management.
