About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Lawyer to join our team on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. Working closely with the Chief Legal & Risk Officer and Deputy General Counsel, you will provide legal advice and support on key commercial, privacy and regulatory matters while helping strengthen our legal function across the organisation.

The role will act as a trusted adviser across the business, partnering with senior leaders to provide strategic legal guidance, manage risk and support key commercial and corporate initiatives across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Lead complex commercial contracting and negotiations.
- Providing expert guidance on regulatory, compliance and privacy and property matters.
- Support the management of disputes, litigation and employment-related matters.
- Proactively identify and mitigate legal and organisational risks.
- Contribute to the evolution of the legal function, including process optimisation and strategic direction.
- Engage at a senior level with regulators, external counsel and key stakeholders.

About You





You are a generalist Senior Lawyer who combines strong technical capability with commercial pragmatism and the ability to influence at senior leadership and executive level.

You will bring:

- 10+ years’ post qualification experience, ideally across both top-tier private practice and in-house environments.
- Solid expertise in corporate and commercial law, contract drafting, privacy and regulatory matters.
- Experience operating within complex regulated sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to influence at a senior leadership and executive level, and deliver commercially pragmatic advice and outcomes at pace.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to adapt communication style across a broad range of audience.
- Highly developed judgment, resilience, initiative and commercial acumen.
- A collaborative approach and passion for enabling business outcomes while managing risk.
