About The School

Applications are invited from creative, enthusiastic and committed Christian teachers qualified to teach Health and Physical Education. This is a part-time (0.8 FTE), fixed-term position commencing Term 1, 2027, covering a period of extended leave during the 2027 school year.

The successful applicant will deliver engaging, high-quality Health and Physical Education programs that inspire students to develop their physical skills, knowledge, confidence and understanding of healthy, active lifestyles.

Professional development and mentoring opportunities will be provided.

The successful Applicant will:

Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging Health and Physical Education programs to Secondary students.

- Plan, assess and report on student learning in accordance with the Western Australian Curriculum and relevant senior secondary course requirements..

- Work collaboratively with the Learning Area Coordinator and teaching team to develop high-quality teaching programs and consistent assessment practices.

- Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

- Encourage student participation, teamwork, sportsmanship and the development of healthy, active lifestyles.





Selection Criteria (maximum two pages in total)

- Relevant experience and demonstrated ability to teach Physical Education, General Health Studies and Volleyball across Years 7–12, including ATAR courses.

- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that support students to become confident, independent and resilient learners.

- Strong ICT skills and the ability to effectively integrate technology into teaching and learning.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organisational and administrative skills.

- An MR driver's licence or ability to obtain one.
