About the role

As an experienced Full-Time Veterinary Nurse, you will work across all areas of the clinic, utilising the full scope of your nursing skillset.

Key responsibilities

- Surgical & Anaesthetic Nursing: Assisting in surgery, monitoring anaesthetics, patient prep, and recovery.

- Consultations & Patient Care: Nurse consultations, triaging, administering medications, and maintaining hospitalised patient care.

- Diagnostics: Running in-house diagnostic tests, collecting samples, and radiograph positioning.

- Client Relations & Education: Post-operative discharge instructions, preventive healthcare advice, and compassionate client communication.

- Hospital Operations: Assisting with patient records, maintaining equipment standards, and contributing to smooth daily workflows.

About you

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

- 3+ years of clinical experience in small animal practice.

- Confident in surgical monitoring, pathology sample collection, and nursing care.

- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to both patients and clients.

- Reliable, proactive, and eager to contribute to a positive team culture.
