Southport Private Hospital is seeking a friendly and reliable Catering Attendant to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. You’ll play an important part in delivering fresh, nutritious meals to patients, visitors, and staff - helping to create a positive hospital experience every day.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

- Exceptional customer service
- Being responsive and sensitive to customer information, their needs and wants
- Setting up, plating and distributing patient meals and beverages
- Undertake cleaning duties throughout the department and at ward level whilst keeping in line with HACCP/Food Safety regulations infection control and hospital standards
- Assisting the broader catering team with daily operations and special requirements
- Monitoring and managing stock levels to ensure efficient service delivery

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a reliable team player who thrives in a busy environment.

You will also demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a prep kitchen or hospital environment is not essential but highly desirable




- Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a robust customer focus
- Compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and Workplace and Health and Safety
- Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
- Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay’s core values
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster
