Are you a technically strong and commercially savvy accounting professional ready to make a meaningful impact? ActewAGL's Finance team are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their agile Evoenergy Commercial Services Group. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure the integrity of financial reporting for Evoenergy is in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards and ActewAGL Distribution policies. You’ll drive financial compliance, lead process improvements, and provide insightful commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Maintain accurate financial reporting and project accounting for electricity and gas distribution services.
- Ensure integrity of capital expenditure and asset depreciation.
- Streamline and automate financial processes to enhance control and efficiency.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver commercial insights and financial performance analysis.
- Support external audits and prepare executive-level reports.
- Mentor team members and promote a safety-first, values-driven culture.

What You’ll Bring

- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related field, plus CA/CPA membership (or equivalent).




- Proven experience in a senior financial accounting role, ideally within utilities or infrastructure.
- Strong technical accounting skills and understanding of AAS.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Oracle Financial Suite or similar systems.
- Strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.
