About the Role

Working closely with Partners, you'll take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, providing high-level business services, tax advice and commercial insights. You'll build trusted client relationships, lead and develop your team, and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the practice.

Your responsibilities will include

- Managing and developing a portfolio of complex business services clients, including privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals.
- Providing strategic tax planning, business advisory and commercial advice to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and other compliance deliverables, ensuring technical excellence and quality control.
- Building strong, long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value through proactive advice.
- Leading, mentoring and developing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Working closely with Partners on client strategy, business development and practice growth.
- Managing workflow, budgets, WIP and billing to ensure the efficient and profitable delivery of services.

About You





You'll be an established Business Services Manager or Senior Manager with strong technical expertise, commercial acumen and the confidence to manage sophisticated client relationships. You're ready for greater responsibility and motivated by the opportunity to progress towards Partnership.

Ideally, you'll bring:

- CA or CPA qualification.
- Significant Australian public practice experience within a reputable mid-tier, 2nd tier or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge across Australian tax, business services and advisory.
- Experience managing complex client portfolios and delivering commercially focused advice.
- Proven leadership skills, with a genuine interest in mentoring and developing people.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with business owners and senior stakeholders.
- A commercial mindset, an eye for new opportunities and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
