The Numeracy Check Officer leads the ongoing skilled learning, policy advice, resource development and direction to schools in relation to the Year 1 Numeracy Check. This includes aligning with the Strategy for Public Education and SA Curriculum in mathematics and numeracy across the curriculum.
The role supports teachers and leaders to activate Areas of Impact and implement numeracy initiatives, with required checks including DHS WWCC and RRHAN–EC training.
