Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Sessional Instructor to deliver our Advanced Life Support (ALS) program, accredited by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC). This casual role is based in Applecross, Western Australia, and is crucial to delivering high-quality training to healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing participants' skills and knowledge, ensuring they are well prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver engaging and informative ALS training sessions in accordance with ARC guidelines.
- Assess and evaluate participants' performance during practical and theoretical components of the course.
- Provide constructive feedback to support participants' learning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current ALS practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive training environment.




- Prepare and organise training materials and equipment prior to sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements during training sessions.

Qualifications:

- Current AHPRA registration as a healthcare professional (e.g. nurse, paramedic, doctor).
- Completion of an ARC-accredited Advanced Life Support Instructor course.
- Previous experience teaching or training in a healthcare setting.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying schedules.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with ALS practice.
