Project Overview

A leading airline organisation is undertaking a process improvement initiative across its operations in Australia and New Zealand. The client is seeking an experienced consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimisation of key operational and business processes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-impact transformation programme within the aviation sector, working with a dynamic team to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery across a geographically dispersed network.

Your contribution will be evaluated based on the effectiveness of process improvements implemented, stakeholder adoption rates, cost savings realised, and the sustainability of changes embedded within the organisation.

Key Activities

- Process Analysis & Design: Conduct diagnostic assessments of current operational and business processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and develop optimised process designs aligned with industry best practice.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Australia and Current Zealand, facilitate workshops,



and communicate recommendations to senior leadership and operational staff.
- Implementation Support: Guide the organisation through process change, develop implementation roadmaps, and provide hands-on support to ensure effective adoption of improvements.
- Documentation & Training: Create process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to support team capability and sustained performance.

Your Background

Essential:

- 8-15 years of professional experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, or related consulting disciplines.
- Demonstrated expertise in process redesign, lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex operational challenges into practical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities, with proven ability to influence and drive change at multiple organisational levels.

Desirable:

- Prior experience working within the aviation, transport, or logistics sector.
- Background in consulting or project-based delivery roles.
- Experience working across multiple geographic locations or managing remote delivery.
