About JPS Lifts

JPS is the leading independent South Australian lift sales, maintenance and upgrades provider with 30 years’ experience in the local market and a reputation for bespoke lift design and installation, working closely with South Australian builders, designers, architects and developers to provide high-quality solutions, using quality European manufactured equipment.

The business is progressing to a new phase with majority private equity ownership, planned growth opportunities and the subsequent need to enhance systems and provide commercial advice to the ownership group.

About the role
This role will lead the strategic direction for the financial performance of JPS Lifts.

This encompasses:

Provide strategic and commercially sound advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Directors on financial performance, funding and investment decisions, cash flow, risk, future growth opportunities and strategic business choices.

Effective management of the company’s finance function, including financial systems and administration, working capital, cash flow, payroll, reporting, invoicing, controls and risk, compliance coordination, business expansion and improvement.

Strengthening financial stewardship,



governance, reporting and organisational performance.

Leading all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling to support short and long-term business objectives.

Evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for cost optimisation, margin improvement, revenue growth, identification of and reporting against key performance indicators.

Oversee contract administration and management, ensuring that commercial agreements are aligned with the company’s operational requirements.

Lead the implementation of systems to support effective processes and reporting disciplines.

About you

Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, business or a related discipline.

Senior leadership experience managing finance operations within a small to medium-sized business including supporting overall business performance and compliance, ideally with some experience of a private equity backed company.

A passion for driving business and process improvement through digital transformation, with strong systems knowledge.

Apply sound commercial judgement, integrity and the confidence to challenge constructively.

Be hands-on, accountable and comfortable working close to the detail across a broad range of responsibilities.
