We're looking for an experienced, energetic Store Manager to take the lead at our Gelatissimo Training Store in beautiful Watsons Bay, Sydney.

But this isn't your average Store Manager role!

Along with running a successful store, you'll play an important part in training our new franchisees and team members, trialling exciting new products and helping bring our marketing campaigns to life.

Since opening our first store in Sydney in 2002, Gelatissimo has grown into one of Australia's best-known gelato brands, with stores across Australia and internationally.

What makes this role different?

Our Training Store is much more than a retail store. It's where we bring the Gelatissimo experience to life for our current franchisees and team members, test new ideas and help shape what happens across our network.

You'll be responsible for

- Running a successful store, driving sales, managing costs and delivering great customer experiences.
- Leading, coaching and developing your own store team.
- Working closely with our Training team to provide a fantastic learning environment for new franchisees and team members.
- Supporting new product trials with our Product Development team. You'll often be one of the first to try what's coming next!
- Getting involved in marketing campaigns, promotional activities and operational trials before they're rolled out across the network.
- Maintaining high standards in food safety, presentation, service and store operations.
- Making the store a great example of how a Gelatissimo should operate.

What we're looking for





First and foremost, you need to be a great Store Manager. Someone who understands what makes a store successful and enjoys being hands-on with their team.

You'll also have

- Strong management experience in hospitality, QSR or food retail.
- A good understanding of rostering, labour costs, stock management, sales and profitability.
- A genuine passion for training, coaching and helping others succeed.
- Great communication skills and the confidence to work with people at all levels.
- Plenty of energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- The ability to juggle a busy store with training, trials and other activities.
- A flexible approach and a willingness to embrace change and try new things.
- A love of great customer service and, of course, gelato!
- Availability to work nights and weekends.

Location - Watsons Bay

This role is based at our Gelatissimo Training Store in Watsons Bay, Sydney.

As this is a hands-on management role, applicants must live within 30 minutes' travel time of the store to ensure they can reliably manage daily operations and support the team.
