EL1/EL2 Level | Baseline Clearance | 10-Month Contract Your recent company You will be joining a Commonwealth Government agency undertaking a significant ICT-enabled business transformation.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the redesign and improvement of a key enterprise system that supports complex business processes and service delivery. Your new role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the redesign and improvement of a major business system, ensuring technology solutions align with evolving business processes and organisational outcomes. Working across business and technical teams, you will lead discovery and analysis activities, facilitate workshops and translate complex requirements into clear system and process improvements.

You will develop requirements, user stories, process maps, functional specifications and acceptance criteria, while identifying opportunities for greater automation, standardisation and efficiency. This is a broad senior role combining business analysis, ICT transformation and project delivery, with responsibility for managing deliverables, risks and dependencies, supporting governance and contributing to broader business improvement initiatives. What you'll need to succeed Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within complex ICT-enabled transformation programs Strong experience gathering and translating business, functional and non-functional requirements Demonstrated process mapping,



process improvement and business process redesign experience Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively between business and ICT/development teams Experience managing projects, deliverables, risks and competing priorities Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills Strong governance, reporting, risk and change management capability Experience working with Agile, Waterfall or other relevant project/program methodologies Strong written communication skills, including producing high-quality documentation, briefs and reports The ability to operate autonomously and provide leadership within a complex delivery environment A minimum Baseline security clearance Previous Commonwealth Government experience and exposure to complex enterprise, grants, case management or similar business systems would be highly regarded.
