We are seeking an experienced and passionate Full-Time Chef to join our growing team.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Full time Chef to lead and contribute to the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Indian cuisine to consistently high standards.

This is a hands-on, senior kitchen role.

Key Duties and Responsibilitiesi.

Plan, prepare, and cook a wide range of Indian and contemporary dishesii.

Design, develop, and update menus in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferencesiii.

Supervise, train, and coordinate kitchen staff including cooks and kitchen handsiv.

Ensure all food preparation meets strict hygiene, food safety, and quality standardsv.

Monitor food stock levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen inventoryvi.

Control portion sizes and minimise food wastagevii.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislationviii.





Collaborate with management on costing, pricing, and menu engineering

Required Qualifications and Experience-Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent recognised qualification-Minimum 1 year of post-qualification full-time (or equivalent part time) relevant experience as a Chef-If no trade qualification then a minimum 3 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant experience as a Chef

All candidates must also demonstrate:-Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team-Strong knowledge of food hygiene regulations and food safety practices-Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Desirable-Experience in authentic Indian cuisine-Knowledge of regional Indian cooking styles

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

Work Schedule:-8-hour shift-Evening shift-Rotating roster-Weekend availability required

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per annum (plus Superannuation)Location: 585-591 Magill Rd, Magill SA 5072
