Job Description

D & F ENDS PTY LTD D & F ENDS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to undertake metal fabrication and welding associated with the manufacture of pressure vessels and related components. This is an prospect to work in a comprehensive workshop environment, contributing to the manufacture of individual components for products used in industries including dairy, fuel storage, hot water and defence. The role offers variety and technical challenges within a small, dedicated fabrication team, with a focus on high-quality workmanship and pressure vessel fabrication.

Benefits Task & responsibilities

Fabricate and weld pressure vessels and related metal components. Undertake metal fabrication and boilermaking tasks associated with pressure vessel manufacture Perform manual and automatic welding using GTAW, GMAW and SMAW processes. Weld stainless steel and duplex materials to achieve a high-quality finish.

Carry out welding in accordance with AS 1210 Class 1 requirements. Undertake sheet and plate rolling. Perform light-gauge sheet metal work for cladding applications.





Manufacture individual components as part of the pressure vessel fabrication process. Ensure fabricated and welded components meet the required quality and technical specifications.

Qualification & experience

Minimum five years’ trade experience in pressure welding and pressure vessel fabrication.

Candidates must be able to pass a welding test in three disciplines: GTAW, GMAW and SMAW. Experience with stainless steel and duplex welding, achieving a high-quality finish. Experience welding to AS 1210 Class 1 requirements.

Experience in sheet and plate rolling. Experience in light-gauge sheet metal for cladding. Experience with manual and automatic welding
