Working closely with our Inventory / dispatch Manager and Management on a daily basis, you will handle a mix of warehousing operations, local driving, fundamental quality inspections, and business logistics.

Key responsibilities

Local Deliveries: Operating a company 1-ton ute to complete local drops and collections safely and efficiently.

Quality Assurance (QA) Checks: Conducting critical QA inspections on manufactured fasteners and parts using rulers and vernier calipers to guarantee exact tolerances.

Customer & Supplier Liaison: Handling phone communications with an excellent, professional phone manner to coordinate order statuses, track details, and address incoming inquiries.

Order Packing: Safely picking, packing, and securing specialised goods to ensure they are ready for courier transport.

Freight Coordination: Arranging daily pick-ups and liaising directly with transport companies.

Inventory Control & Entry: Placing incoming and completed stock accurately into allocated warehouse bins and logging details into our M1 Manufacturing System.

About you

Physical Fitness & Strength: This is an active, physical role. You must be fit, strong, and completely comfortable handling heavy lifting safely as part of warehouse operations.

Communication Skills: A excellent phone manner and strong interpersonal communication skills to connect effectively with both customers and suppliers.

Industry Background:



Prior experience or a background in manufacturing, engineering, or the fasteners industry is highly desirable.

Technical Literacy: Practical competence using precision measuring tools like rulers and verniers for basic quality verification checks.

Licencing: Must hold a current, valid Australian Car Licence with a clean driving record.

Fast-Paced Ethic: A high-energy individual who takes initiative, moves with urgency, and stays on top of daily tasks.

System Competency: Comfortable using ERP or warehouse databases (knowledge of the M1 Manufacturing System is a huge plus, though training will be provided).

A Forklift Licence is highly regarded but not strictly essential.

Highly Competitive Pay: Between $41.00 and $44.00 per hour (negotiable depending on your level of experience).
