Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Learn how to decipher plans and technical drawings.
- Provide support in diagnosing plumbing issues and carrying out repairs.
- Safely handle tools and equipment under the supervision of experienced plumbers.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, and appearance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and local plumbing codes.
- Attend TAFE and participate in on-the-job learning.
Qualifications
- Solid interest in plumbing and a desire to learn the trade.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, bend, squat, and work in various conditions.
- Reliable transportation to work and willingness to travel as needed. Current driver's license favorable, but not required to start with. Desire to acquire a drivers license is key.
