Talent International is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to develop scalable data solutions and AI-powered analytics capabilities.
This role is suited to someone with strong hands-on Snowflake engineering experience who has worked with Cortex AI, Generative AI and up-to-date data engineering practices.
Experience within banking or financial services will be highly regarded.
Snowflake Data Engineer – Cortex AI / GenAI
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data products using Snowflake.
- Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes, data models and semantic views.
- Develop AI-powered solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Build agentic AI workflows supporting search, summarisation, recommendations and automation.
- Develop and optimise SQL, Python, stored procedures, streams and tasks.
- Implement data governance, metadata, lineage and security controls.
- Support CI/CD processes and software engineering best practices.
- Optimise Snowflake performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver AI-enabled analytics solutions.
About You
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant data engineering experience.
- Experience delivering at least two Snowflake implementation projects, including Cortex AI or GenAI.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL and Python.
- Proven experience designing and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
- Practical experience developing AI-powered solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Understanding of agentic AI workflows and Generative AI applications.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage and security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD and modern software engineering practices.
- Previous banking, financial services or regulated industry experience will be highly regarded.
