Experienced Marine Detailer / Boat Detailer

About the Role:

We are a premium boat detailing business servicing discerning boat owners across Mandurah, including local marinas and yacht clubs. We pride ourselves on delivering high-end finishes on everything from luxury cruisers to offshore fishing boats.

Due to a busy season ahead, we are looking for a reliable, efficient, and highly skilled Experienced Marine Detailer to join our team.

⚠️ CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING ⚠️

This is NOT a car detailing or entry-level cleaning role. To be considered, you MUST have proven, hands-on experience specifically detailing boats and marine vessels. If you do not have previous marine detailing experience, your application will not be reviewed.

Key Responsibilities:

• High-stage machine sanding, buffing and polishing of marine gelcoats and fiberglass.

• Applying premium marine sealants and coatings.

• Comprehensive interior detailing (clears, vinyl restoration, teak cleaning, and cabin detailing).

• Maintaining a pristine, professional workspace while working onboard client vessels.

What You Must Bring:

• Proven boat detailing experience.

• Expert knowledge of marine-specific products, compounds, rotary polishers, and dual-action buffers.

• An eye for detail—you spot the water marks, swirls, and missed spots before anyone else does.

• Physical fitness, stamina, and agility (comfortable working on ladders, docks, and inside tight boat cabins).

• A valid Australian Driver’s License and reliable transport.

• A respectful, qualified attitude when representing our brand at local clubs and marinas.

What We Offer:

• Top hourly rates negotiated based on your actual experience and speed.

• Great working conditions around Mandurah’s beautiful waterways.

• A supportive, straightforward employer who values quality workmanship and respects your trade skills.

• Potential for ongoing, consistent hours for the right person.

How to Apply

If you have the marine experience we need and take pride in turning a weathered hull into a mirror finish, we want to hear from you.

Please click "Apply Now" and attach a brief resume outlining your previous boat detailing experience. Alternatively, send us a text or give us a call on 04•• ••• 319 or email to ••••@coastalboatdetailing.com.au detailing which marine businesses or vessels you have previously worked on.
