About the role

Port Central Pantry is a rapid-paced café located in Port Central Shopping Centre serving fresh, quality breakfast and lunch dishes daily. We are recruiting for Front of House Café All Rounders and Kitchen Hands / Cooks who enjoy working in a team environment, thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering great food and customer service.

Key responsibilities

Front of House / Café All Rounder:

- Providing friendly, efficient customer service

- Taking orders and processing payments

- Preparing and serving food and beverages

- Coffee making and barista duties where experienced

- Maintaining a clean, organised café

- Supporting the team during busy breakfast and lunch services

Kitchen Hand / Cook:

- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch menu items (Cook role)

- Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen operations

- Supporting the kitchen during busy service periods

- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards





- Assisting with stock preparation and general kitchen duties

About you

Front of House / Café All Rounder:

- Previous café or hospitality experience preferred

- Barista experience highly regarded

- Friendly, energetic and customer-focused

- Reliable, punctual and a strong team player

- Confident working in a fast-paced environment

Kitchen Hand / Cook:

- Previous kitchen experience preferred

- Cooking experience required for Cook applicants

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Positive understanding of food safety and hygiene

- Reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
