Christmas Casual: Guest Sales & Support Position

Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens is located just outside of Mullumbimby in the beautiful Byron Bay hinterland. An extraordinary world-unique place, it is the home of the largest natural crystals in the world where visitors can immerse themselves in wonder. The tranquil Shambhala Gardens are filled with walks, sacred statues, areas for contemplation, and interactive experiences.

We're looking for Christmas casuals to join our Guest Sales and Support team over our busy summer holiday season. The Guest Sales and Support position provides high-quality customer service, ensuring guests experience a pleasant and attractive sales environment and have an enjoyable buying experience. This role includes working in a mix of retail areas, our experiences, and the Welcome Hut ticket booth.

What we need from you

- Genuine sales, retail, or customer service experience of at least 1 year

- Confidence working in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting





- A passion for creating meaningful and memorable guest experiences

- Willingness to learn and facilitate Crystal Castle experiences including singing bowls, walking tours, and other guest offerings

- Comfortable working across multiple areas including retail spaces and the Welcome Hut reception/ticket booth

- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with groups of guests

- A positive, healthy, and team-focused attitude

- Your own reliable transport

- Flexible with availability and able to work holidays and weekends, including over the Christmas and New Year period, we need guaranteed availability from 20th Dec - 19th Jan.

- Crystal knowledge is an advantage but not essential

The position is casual over the Christmas holiday season and will vary from 2 to 5 days a week. Must be available Christmas and Current Year period, most importantly the 20th Dec - 19th Jan.

Shifts from 4.5 hours to 7 hours.

There is the possibility of ongoing work for the right person, but this can not be guaranteed.
