About the Role

Reporting to the HSW Business Partner, the HSW Advisor will act as a strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing business partner, providing practical advice and support to leaders, managers and employees across strategic and operational HSW matters.

You will use business insights, HSW data and sound judgement to address risks, support improvement initiatives and enable the effective application of the TTIANZ HSW Management System. You will also support site-based injury and claims management, including return-to-work coordination and suitable duties.

Responsibilities

- Help build a positive HSW culture and coach leaders and team members to take ownership of risks, prevent incidents, support wellbeing and keep improving.
- Work with business leaders and People & Culture on practical HSW initiatives that fit day-to-day priorities, address risks and support business needs.
- Use HSW data, insights from day-to-day operations and performance reports to help set priorities, guide decisions, spot risks and find ways to improve.
- Turn legal, regulatory and industry requirements into clear,



practical advice that works for the business and helps teams operate safely, efficiently and sustainably.
- Create and improve HSW tools, procedures and programmes, and help keep the Management System well managed through document control, audits and reviews of content and records.
- Support injury and claims management through incident follow-up, suitable duties and return-to-work coordination, with stakeholder contact as needed.

What You Bring

- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and sound knowledge of the Model WHS Act, relevant regulations and applicable codes of practice
- HSW generalist and business partnering experience across strategic and operational matters, with business acumen to align HSW strategies with business objectives; distribution centre experience would be advantageous
- Experience supporting injury and claims management, including incident follow-up, return-to-work coordination, suitable duties and stakeholder liaison
- Solid communication, influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills across diverse stakeholders, with a collaborative and inclusive approach
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, using data, insights and performance trends to guide decisions, support organisational change and continuously improve workplace practices
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
