Engtruss Group is an established MiTek-licensed fabricator based in Braeside, VIC, specialising in the manufacture of timber roof trusses, PosiStrut floor systems and prefabricated wall frames. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in a full-time, office-based position.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for roof trusses, PosiStrut floor systems, wall frames and related products, including beams and flooring materials.
- Review architectural and structural drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare and finalise customer quotations.
- Follow up with customers to clarify quotation scope, obtain outstanding information, provide project updates and follow up on submitted quotations.
- Perform data entry, maintain estimating records and update job information.
- Communicate with builders, customers and internal estimating, detailing and scheduling teams.
- Manage multiple quotations and ensure timely responses to customer enquiries.
About you
- Minimum 1 year of relevant estimating experience in the timber roof truss, PosiStrut or prefabricated wall frame, with experience using MiTek 20/20 or Sapphire Structure software (essential).
- Positive understanding of timber framing and prefabricated building components.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong computer skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised, reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
