Adina Hotel Darling Harbour has just completed its transformation, and we're looking for a driven, dynamic General Manager to build performance in a fresh environment. If you lead with attitude, love the buzz of a busy restaurant and bar, and want a hotel small enough to know every guest and team member by name, this is your opportunity.

The Opportunity

This is not a 'maintain the status quo' role. You'll own the hotel's performance end to end – Rooms, Food & Beverage and Guest Services – with no layers of management between you and the results.

Shoreline Kitchen sits at the heart of the opportunity. You'll shape its identity, drive activations and partnerships, and make it a Darling Harbour destination for locals and guests alike.

With TFE Hotels' central service model taking care of much of the back-of-house administration, you'll be free to focus on what really counts: guest service, Food & Beverage sales and marketing, and the commercial levers that directly impact results.

What You'll Be Doing

- Building hotel performance in a newly refreshed environment, setting clear goals and delivering against them.
- Creating a warm, personalised boutique service culture that guests notice and teams are proud of.
- Driving Food & Beverage sales and marketing,



including activations, events and local partnerships.
- Owning the direct-impact commercials – revenue, F&B; sales, labour and cost control – with budgeting and forecasting support from the central team.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and the local business community.
- Recruiting, developing and inspiring a motivated team through visible, hands-on leadership.

About You

Attitude is everything. You're driven, positive and ambitious, you lead from the front, and you love the hands-on, close-knit nature of a boutique hotel.

Essential:

- Experience as a General Manager, or an accomplished Hotel Manager ready for the step up, within a quality hotel environment.
- A solid Food & Beverage background, with a track record of driving restaurant and bar performance.
- Sharp commercial acumen and a proven track record of lifting hotel or venue performance.
- A passion for personalised service and building a guest-first culture.
- A dynamic, hands-on and highly visible leadership style, with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
- Understanding of WHS, food safety and hotel compliance requirements.
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available for this position).

Desirable:

- Boutique or lifestyle hotel experience.
- Pre-opening or repositioning experience.
- A tertiary qualification in hospitality or business.
- Knowledge of the Sydney hospitality market.
