Daycare Dental is a growing mobile children's dental service providing dental examinations, cleans and preventative oral health education to children attending childcare centres across Perth.
We are passionate about creating positive dental experiences for young children and helping families establish healthy oral hygiene habits from an early age.
We are seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor, working Tuesday to Friday.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to step outside the traditional dental clinic environment and provide preventative dental care to children aged approximately 6 months to 5 years at childcare centres throughout Perth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting dental examinations and oral health assessments.
- Providing dental cleans and preventative treatments within your scope of practice.
- Identifying dental concerns and recommending appropriate follow-up care.
- Educating children, parents and childcare educators about oral hygiene.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and dental reports
- Creating a gentle, positive and reassuring experience for young children.
What We're Looking For:
- Current Ahpra registration as an Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist.
- Availability Tuesday to Friday (4 days per week).
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- A friendly, patient and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence working independently
- Your own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
- A valid Working With Children Check.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- Experience working with young children is highly regarded.
