About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our growing family-owned food manufacturing business. You will build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, identify and develop new sales opportunities, and travel throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area to visit customers and strengthen business relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.

- Identify, develop and secure new sales opportunities to drive business growth.

- Maintain a regular customer visit schedule to ensure our products are well represented in stores.

- Travel throughout the Adelaide metropolitan area to visit customers and strengthen business relationships.

- Implement promotional activities and sales initiatives to increase product visibility and sales.

- Work towards achieving sales targets and budgets.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback, providing valuable insights to the business.

- Support ongoing business development and identify opportunities for market expansion.

About you

- Minimum 2 years of FMCG sales experience preferred.





- Sales experience in other industries will also be considered.

- B2B sales experience is highly regarded, particularly for candidates without an FMCG background.

- Proven ability to identify opportunities, generate recent business and close sales.

- Experience in customer-facing and direct sales roles.

- A positive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

- Self-motivated, proactive and passionate about growing a business.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels.

- Current valid South Australian driver's licence.

- Must have valid Australian working rights.
